The excitement of the crowd fills the tent as music begins to play, the show is about to begin! The girls eyes are widened with expectations of surprises, unaware of what is to come. Our bodies begin to move with the beat of the music and our hands clapping on point with every bang.
We are ready!
Little did I realize that the show was all in Spanish, should have guessed that… Silly me. But what an experience, Geraldo was laughing hysterically and translating what was being said.
The girls were entranced into the show, as well as myself. Amazed as we watched the many acts. The young men dancing and lifting one another into the air; bringing Elleanna to her feet to dance to the music. As we laughed at their act, awed at the lifts I couldn’t help but keep smiling at my daughters laughs and smiles.
Though I had a hard time understanding what was being said other then having my translator near; I found myself drawn to the Alien Clown. As he “shot” arrows at a gentlemen from the audience I thought I would never catch my breath from laughing so hard. Though the many performances that you all may see, there will always be a different reaction to the shooting arrows. As the gentleman jumped blindfolded, worried the arrow would get his lower half Isabella cracked up laughing. I’m sure she didn’t understand the whole performance totally but to hear my children giggle, to watch a breathtaking performance was a lifetime memory.
Not only were we taken by the amusing clowns, dance moves and routines of these wonderful circus performers but also their animals. From the trained horses that had Elleanna in aw with she snacked on caramel popcorn to the trained dogs act. I was shocked to see a circus performer dressed just as I imagined… As if he was a vintage circus performer, a ringleader I would say. I was in love with the costume.
Watching the thrilling acts above the stage, daggling from ropes, and spaceships that were in my eyes SPEEDING; I was shocked at their calmness… The way they were so in control on something that could easily go out of control. We certainly were having a lifetime experience!
I was thrilled to have a photo with one of the clowns that was walking around pre-performance. Towards the intermission they came around to see if we would like to purchase the photo; how could I say no. Though I believe that Elleanna was staring down a clown that was across the ring and could have smiled… But this is one for the scrapbook, better yet one for the large number of photos of family activities we have done from Maryland and now back home in Central Florida.
I am very pleased to have shared this experience with my children; to have them involved in not only English speaking performances but also Spanish. I hope you too will attend and love the performance just as myself and my family.
La emoción de la multitud llena la carpa, cuando la música comienza a sonar, el espectáculo está a punto de comenzar! Los ojos de las niñas se abrieron con expectativas de sorpresas, sin darse cuenta de lo que está por venir. Nuestros cuerpos comienzan a moverse al ritmo de la música y nuestras manos aplaudiendo en el punto con cada explosión.
¡Estamos listos!
Las chicas estaban en trance en el espectáculo, así como yo. Sorprendido mientras veíamos los muchos actos. Los hombres jóvenes bailando y los maravaristas haciendo su show. Yo sujetando a Elleanna al querer levantarse a bailar a el ritmo de la música. A medida que nos reímos de su acto, asombrado en los ascensores que no podía dejar de mantener la sonrisa en mis hijas se ríe y sonríe.
No sólo estuvimos asombrado por los payasos, movimientos y rutinas de estos maravillosos artistas de circo si no también a sus animales. los caballos entrenados que tenían, Elleanna comiendo palomitas de caramelo, el acto de perros entrenados. Me sorprendió ver a un artista de circo vestida igual que yo me imaginaba … Como si fuera un artista de circo vintage, cabecilla diría yo. Yo estaba enamorada de el traje.
Viendo los actos emocionantes sobre el escenario, maravaristas y las naves espaciales que estaban en mi ojo A ALTA VELOCIDAD: Me sorprendió la tranquilidad que tenia ellos … La forma en que estaban tan en control de algo que fácilmente podría salirse de control. Ciertamente estábamos teniendo una experiencia unica.
Estoy muy contenta de haber compartido esta experiencia con mis hijos; tenerlos involucrados en actuaciones ,ahora. No solo en Inglés, pero también español. Espero que usted también pueda asistir y tenga el rendimiento al igual que mi familia que se la paso riendo. Estoy seguro de que ella no entendía todo el rendimiento , pero escuchar mis hijos que se ríen me hacia entender que se lo disfrutaban ,para ver una actuación impresionante era un recuerdo de por vida.
